Did you know there are at least 3 positions for playing a Mountain Dulcimer?  Did you know that they suffer no particular standardization at all (unlike the guitar with it’s set number of  strings, frets and almost universal EADGBE tuning)? For players who like to use the upright position and wrap their left hand (presumably) around the neck to fret it like a guitar, we have this and other models.  This particular simple model is called a “basic offset” (DOS-1) and goes for US$195. This one had a Sitka spruce top and an antique finish.
